MANHATTAN BEACH, CA- Elon Musk has repeatedly warned it’s just a matter of time before Artificial Intelligence (AI) replace the majority of human jobs. It turns out pigeons may have already done that at the Telsa Motor Company. Car owners across Southern California have noticed bird poop on their car that looks strangely similar to the Telsa logo.
Automobile Marketing Analyst Dawn Stevens explains, “Telsa doesn’t advertise like the rest of the industry, they build exceptional vehicles that speak for themselves.” She adds “We’ve heard rumors Tesla CEO Elon Musk hired several bird experts at Telsa, but it was never clear why. It’s now obvious they have trained pigeons to defecate the car logo.
Early witness accounts claiming their car was “tagged” with the logo were dismissed as conspiracy theory. Admittedly the early evidence was crude. However, more recent and widespread claims have removed any doubts. According to Jim Sellers “They’ve got my car three times and each time the poop looks more like the Tesla logo and is more strategically placed in a central location of the hood.”
Reports of bird dropping have been contained to California thus far, but that’s likely to change. Ms. Stevens speculates “This is an extremely low cost method of building brand awareness. When a bird properly tags a car, the passer-by subconsciously recognizes the Tesla logo right above the logo of the actual vehicle of another make and model. It’s completely in line with Elon’s outside-the-box disruption strategy. We estimate 300 pigeons have been certified at this point with evolving precision.”
Some people welcome the birds and started parking on the street to improve their chances of getting tagged. Others happily remain out of the drop zone in their garage. Either way, you can’t argue with this innovative marketing campaign.
